How to Give Professional Look to a Blog

Blog look is one of the most important component of  a blog. When a visitor visits your blog, the first thing he sees is the blog look.

Better Look = More Trust

Of course blog content is the most important component of a blog but the presentation of that content is even more important.

Yes it is a blog. But I have given it a very professional and unique look.

What did I do?

1. I have chosen short title for my blog,

2. I have used suitable header image.

3. I don’t display post snippet in the home page.

4. I have made home page more interactive.

6. I have completed the navigation menu bar

7. I have tried to show every label/category in the home page and also in the post pages so that every single post is discoverable from every page of the blog. ( eg, through, categories in the menu bar and through the footer widgets)

8. Simple and neat design.

9. Light color scheme.

10. Simple fonts.

I suggest one should not use the “followers” and “blog archive” widgets. Be careful in choosing social subscription widgets. They shouldn’t be overly designed.

I’ll suggest that don’t used unnecessary jquery scripts and widgets, They significantly increases the page loading speed.

Blogger users may experience ( error 403 ) or “service unavailable” type errors if they show too many posts in the home page.

So from the above discussion it can be concluded that Blog look is very important to make a blog successful. Better look contribute in visitor/customer trust building.
